Execution Dashboard
Initiatives → Execution dashboard shows whether the work is moving. It covers every initiative you can see. Restricted initiatives count only for the people who can see them.
The dashboard never shows who did how much. It has no per-person counts, rankings or "productivity" figures. Commitments are kept by teams, and counting people's tasks rewards the wrong work.
The figures
Window sets the period: the last 4, 12, 26 or 52 weeks.
-
Commitments kept on time: of the milestones that came due in the window, the share completed by their due date. The share leaves out:
- cancelled milestones;
- milestones not yet due.
It is empty when nothing came due.
-
Active initiatives, Planned and On hold: how many initiatives have each status.
-
Open commitments: milestones still open.
-
Overdue commitments: open milestones past their due date.
-
Blocked tasks: tasks marked blocked.
Commitments by week
The chart has one column for each week, holding the milestones that came due that week. Each column is split by what became of them:
- Kept on time;
- Kept late: completed after the due date;
- Missed or overdue: marked missed, or still open after the due date.
Hover over a week, or move to it with the Tab key, to see its figures. Show as a table lists every week, including the milestones still open.
By initiative
Each initiative has a card with:
- its status;
- its commitments: kept, open and missed;
- how many are overdue;
- the next due date;
- its tasks by status;
- each blocked task and what it is waiting on;
- a small chart of every success criterion's readings against its target.
Choose an initiative's title to open it.
Who can see it
Every member of the organization can open the dashboard, when your plan includes the Execution Dashboard.
